Ship to norway

A worthy winner

Ship owner Felix H. Tschudi (53) was awarded the magazine Moderne Transport's award for 2013 under the Transport and Logistics conference October 21st. He has made a major contribution to increasing the volume of maritime transport.

The winner joins a long line of worthy recipients. Since 1969, the magazine Moderne Transport has given the award to a personality who has contributed extraordinarily to the development of the Norwegian logistics. This year the prize went to the owner and chairman of Tschudi Shipping Company AS, Mr. Felix H. Tschudi.

Mr. Tschudi kindly shared the price with the employees in the company - especially one.

- This award came as a surprising and it is very nice to recieve it. Just in terms of the effort in the north, I have probably helped a lot. But - in terms of logistics, a lot of the credit goes to the Tschudi Logistics and managing director Mr. Eskil Ødegaard, said Mr. Felix H. Tschudi when he got the award.

We, at Shortsea Promotion Centre Norway, would like to add a special honor to Mr. Felix Tschudi and his company Tschudi Logistics for their development of the shortsea lines on the Oslofjord. These lines have contributed greatly to the growth we have had in container volumes. Transport of goods in 45 foot containers has proven to be a good alternative to road haulage.

So, we agree. Mr. Felix H. Tschudi is a worthy winner.
