Expansion of the port of Oslo
The port of Oslo wants to double its container throughput and the work has now started with the purchase of new and modern cranes.
Award to shipping company Nor Lines
- The winner has a tremendous commitment regarding environmental friendly cargo transport. By investing in two natural gas-powered cargo ships, they show great willingness to make a difference, the jury stated.
A worthy winner
Ship owner Felix H. Tschudi (53) was awarded the magazine Moderne Transport's award for 2013 under the Transport and Logistics conference October 21st. He has made a major contribution to increasing the volume of maritime transport.

The Norwegian conference “Transport & Logistikk” will take place at Clarion Hotel Oslo Airport Gardermoen on October 21st and 22nd.
SPC Norway hosts a seminar on SECA
The event is organized in Oslo on June 20th. The purpose is to assist ports of Norway and shipping lines trading on Norway in finding good solutions before the 2015 deadline and to minimize the potential back-shift.

The annual “European Shortsea Conference 2013” will take place for the first time in France, in Paris on Thursday 14 March 2013. This event is organised by SPC France in cooperation with the other European Shortsea Promotion Centres.

A Scandinavian maritime conference in Norway addresses: How can shipping in Scandinavian waters become cleaner? Is a vision of zero discharge to sea and air achievable?

Ship To Norway ("Velg Sjøveien") is an information campaign with the aim of giving transport buyers better freight service to, from and within Norway. One port in particular has managed to draw a large audience to their event.
